several thousand people came to the first ever Brighton Vegan Fayre and (nearly) everyone loved it! the bands were excellent, the vibe superb and the stalls were busy - and yes, the food was not that good, courtsey of the venues caterers - they've been told. Big thanks to our hosts the Brighton Centre and to all our stallholders, sponsosrs, visitors, entertainers , guests and of course the Yaoh team for putting it all together.

The line up for the first ever Brighton Vegan Fayre is shaping up nicely with 3 excellent performances guaranteed from hot up and coming London bands The King Blues and SohoDolls, plus a solo appearance from Mark from the Levellers, Brighton's biggest and best band ever! Plus of course Macka B vegan reggae superstar, and The Clive Palmer Band + Robb Johnson

Cookery Demos area, Cinema and Art Exhibition added
New additions to the show include a Cookery Demos area hosted by vegan pirate Long John Tofu and his special guest Count Vincent Von Vegan (don't ask). They will be displaying some quick easy and exceedingly tasty vegan options in a series of 2 minute demos along with some other guests too. Meanwhile, next door to the Campaigns Room in the East wing upper there is a cinema with a rolling programme of movies and short films and in the downstairs foyer there's now an art exhibition from the wonderful Kay Johns and the Lethal Concoction Collective!
Kev and Mike's Groovy Thing - Live Jazz on the Performance Stage
Kev and Mike's Groovy Thing are one of Bristol hottest Jazz bands and Brighton jazz fiends will be thrilled by this close knit and often outrageous fluent band of experienced and fun filled performers. One of the highlights of the whole event - probably the best musicians on site!! On at 4pm on the Performance Stage and worth the admission fee alone. Click here for detail.
